A terrorist leader, Machalla Baleri, has boasted that he already has up to N10m redesigned naira.
Millions of Nigerians cannot get the new notes, with even the old ones now scarce.
The Central Bank of Nigeria vis-à-vis the Federal Government said the currency has been redesigned to curb laundering and money flow to terrorists.
But in a video on Wednesday, Buleri was seen displaying wads of the new design.
He noted in the Hausa language that he had up to N10 million of the new naira notes.
He also claimed he had enough new naira notes to purchase more weapons.
