Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is not a kind of persons that will work against his party or the party’s candidate.
According to him, Buhari is truly in support of the All Progressives Congress’ presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
He, however, conceded that there were some elements in the Presidency spinning confusion and manipulating situations as they were working for the opposition.
Speaking on Journalists’ Hangout on TVC on Thursday, El-Rufai said, “It’s not true that Buhari is not attending our rallies. In Jos, he said Tinubu was his successor and Khalifa. He did the same in Adamawa.
“Buhari gave birth to APC alongside Tinubu, Ogbonaya and others. So, he will never work against the party. He would not lift a finger to give us an edge, but he will never work against the party.
So, the relationship between him and Asiwaju is excellent.”
