– Floyd Mayweather Jr. will take on Geordie Shore star and former MMA fighter Aaron Chalmers in an exhibition fight at the O2 Arena in London on Feb. 25.
– A knee injury meant that Mayweather’s original opponent, Muay Thai fighter Liam Harrison, had to withdraw from the bout. Chalmers, who stars in Geordie Shore — England’s equivalent to U.S. reality show Jersey Shore — has stepped in to replace him.

– Mayweather said on Instagram: “Different face, different name, same results. #London we are still rocking and rolling on Feb. 25th at the O2 Arena. Tickets will be on sale soon. Stay tuned!!”
– Mayweather retired from professional boxing in 2017 but has returned to fight in exhibitions against YouTube stars and competitors of other fighting events.
– Most recently, the 45-year-old defeated YouTuber Deji Olatunji — brother of boxer and musician KSI.
– Chalmers retired from MMA in 2021 and signed a deal with boxing promoters BOXXER last year.
– The bout is one of a series of fights over recent years involving TV and internet stars.
