Popular actor and producer, Ebun Oloyede, aka Olaiya Igwe, has said that he deliberately recorded the special prayer session he had nude in a river for the All Progressives Congress’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Olaiya has stirred a lot of controversy, with some berating him for stripping to undergo the process.
But he says the decision is a personal one and that he has no regret doing so.
In an ongoing interview on ‘Your View’ at TVC, monitored by Phenomenal.cm.ng, the actor notes: “If you are a Yoruba, the Babalawo can say if you want to do a prayer or carry an etutu/ebo (sacrifice), go to a market or any other public place. So, this is similar to what I did. I deliberately recorded the process for people to see it. I did it deliberately and I have no regret. There are individual differences. As long as what I’m doing cannot affect any other person.
Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu is a big fish in my life and I know he is going to be the President of Nigeria very soon.
I can do anything for Asiwaju.”
