Vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Kashim Shettima, has has described the founder of Zenith Bank as a peerless risk taker.
According to him, Ovia is also a diligent builder of professionals.
Shettima saluted him as he congratulated Ovia on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
He noted in a Facebook post:
“When you write the history of mavericks who revolutionized banking in Nigeria, Mr. Jim Ovia will occupy a top spot. Aside from his eyes for outstanding talents and guiding them to partake in building one of the most successful banks in Nigeria, he’s a peerless risk manager.
