As far as Lagos politics is concerned, there are indications that politics is thicker than industry ties.

This may be a lesson star actress, Funke Akindele, may be earning too fast as far as her decision to join the Peoples Democratic Party and battle the ruling All Progressives Congress is concerned.

She is the deputy governorship candidate of the PDP, teaming up with Jide Adeniran to tackle APC’s Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Unlike the comradeship she enjoyed in intra-industry projects, most her colleagues are declaring for either the APC’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, or/and Sanwo-Olu.

These include Adebayo Salami, Jide Kosoko, Saheed Balogun, Foluke Daramola, Damola Olatunji and Joke Silva.
In fact, even her number one friend, Eniola Badmus, is clearly on the other side.

Meanwhile, Tinubu has written her off as a no candidate.

According to him, it is a big insult to compare their statures.

He said it was insulative to mention ‘Funke’ in her presence.
