Nigeria’s big music export, Wizkid, has expressed positive shock about the life and career of reggae legend, Bob Marley.

He always feels Marley’s essence still burning everywhere, to the extent that he would not imagine he died at 36.

Now, he knows as he declares he is inspiration.

In an interview in which he discusses his new album, ‘More Love Less Ego’, he says while managing his ego, he aims to ‘live forever’ through his music like Marley does.

According to Wizkid, he made a strong decision to be like Bob Marley after he attended a Bob Marley musical play, ‘Get Up, Stand Up’ which made him see that a person can still live even after their death.

He notes: “I want to live forever.

Not physically, but for whatever I create to live forever,” he explained.

According to Big Wiz watching the Marley musical play reaffirmed what he wanted for his life.

He said:

“I was like, ‘Yo, we’re watching a Bob Marley play and this guy died decades ago.’

“I didn’t even know that he died at 36.

He did so much at a young age.

It just reaffirms what I do; I have to keep taking this to the highest heights.

“Because I know one day they’re definitely going to create a play about me.”
