Many Yoruba leaders rose to identify with the presidential bid of the All Progressives Congress’ candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, when the Afenifere hosted him in Akure, Ondo State.
The leader of the pan-Yoruba organisation, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, blessed Tinubu the traditional way, while others extolled his virtues.
According to an online post by the Director, Media and Publicity for the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, paid homage and got their blessings.

Among the A-cream leaders who witnessed the event Sunday in Akure were Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu, Professor Isaac Adewole, Oba Olu Falae, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, General Alani Akinrinade, General Olu Bajowa, Mr Sola Iji, Dr Kunle Olajide, Senator Cornelius Adebayo, Bashorun Seinde Arogbofa, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Chief Bisi Akande, Dare Babarinsa, Chief Pius Akinyelure, Deputy governor of Oyo state, Bayo Lawal, deputy governor of Ondo state, Aiyedatiwa.
Others were Chief Segun Adesegun, representing former Governor Segun Osoba, Senator Tony Adefuye, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, State leaders of Afenifere and many others.
