Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, has given the reason he and his northern colleagues in the All Progressives Congress championed the cause that power should move to the South.
According to him, the governors met and considered what founding fathers such as the Late Sardauna of Sokoto and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa would do in the circumstance.
He made this know in Kaduna on Monday during the ongoing interaction with the APC’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, by the Arewa Consultative Committee.
He said the North was a region that does not keep promises or indulge in injustice.
“We are not like that. We are a people of honour and justice. When we say we want to do something. We do it. We stand by it.
“Asiwaju, whatever you see, here is real. We will not betray you. We will continue to be with you until you are declared President,” El-Rufai said.
