Popular Ghanaian female artiste, Wendy Shay, has lamented how difficult it has been for her to find what she calls genuine love.
Many ladies have also constantly lamented similarly, although men too say it is often their money that most ladies are interested in.
The singer’s agitation is, however, informed by a nasty experience she had: a friend snatched her man for good.

What she could not say is how and why, but she cannot just forget the experience.
According to her, while she was chasing a career in music, she lost her man to her best friend and they are together till date.

WHILE I WAS ON THE ROAD CHASING MY PASSION, MY SO CALLED BEST FRIEND WAS ALSO CHASING MY MAN.

Wendy is a Ghanaian Afropop and Afrobeatssinger.
In March 2021, she was among the Top 30 Most Influential Women in Music by the 3Music Awards Women’s Brunch.
