In a season many celebrity entertainers are variously declaring support for each of the three leading presidential candidates in the country, star actress, Toyin Abraham, has said that she is not campaigning for anyone.
The likes of Hilda Dokubo, Patience Ozokwor a s well as Fred Leonard on the one hand, and Jide Kosoko, Saheed Balogun and Joke Silva on the other have respectively declared for the Labpur Party’s Peter Obi and the All Progressives Congress’s Bola Tinubu.
The choices have sparked controversies in some cases, but life continues.
Although Toyin has spoken in defence of Tinubu, questioning questioned those insisting he is sick, dying or dead, she says she only wants to be a voter and nothing else.
According to Toyin, Tinubu as done enough to convince anyone that he is healthy.
The thespian stated this in reaction to a video shared by Tinubu to prove he’s still alive healthy in order to allay fears of his demise.
In a now-deleted post, Toyin argued:
“WHAT ELSE DOES TINUBU NEED TO DO TO PROVE THAT HE IS NOT DYING TODAY?
I AM NOT CAMPAIGNING FOR ANY CANDIDATE, JUST JUMPING ON TRENDING TOPIC O.
I AM JUST A RESPONSIBLE CITIZEN WITH PVC AND POWER TO CHOSE WHO TO VOTE FOR.”
