A politician accused of impregnating his granddaughter five times, Chief Badmus Gbadebo Olawoyin, has narrated the state the girl was when he first had sexual intercourse with her.
Olawoyin, who is the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ward 8, Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, said she was not a virgin, adding that she was also the one who lured him into the act.
The man, said to have secured aborting for the girl, whose name is being withheld, had secured four abortions for her.
During a programme with an Ibadan-based multi-media platform, ‘Agidigbo’, owned by fiery broadcaster, Hamzat Oriyomi, where Olawoyin appeared with the girl, he said: “She caused It.
“I was sleeping on my own and she came to me on the bed. She was not even a virgin when I did it the first time.”
As ‘Platforms Africa’ also reports, the victim, who was also featured on the programme, opened up on how the man she grew up to know as the father of her own mother, forcefully had canal knowledge of her.
“Grandpa divorced his new wife and started to have sex with me. I have been told that he had earlier divorced my grand-mother whom he always beat at slight provocation. I was less than 14 year-old when he began having sex with me.”
Concerning how the unholy affair started, she noted, “He sent me to buy alcohol. When I brought it, he ordered me to drink it. I told him I don’t drink beer but he threatened and forced me to drink. He raped me when I became drunk and unconscious.”
Mother of the victim, Ms Badmus, added that all attempt she made to withdraw the girl resulted in physical assault on her.
