Nigeria has recorded another suicide case through a Delta-based man said to have killed himself after his girlfriend dumped him.
With the incident happening in Warri, the man’s name is given as Agent Dan while the lady who allegedly jilted him is Ejiro.
According to ‘The Punch’, which quoted sources, Agent Dan’s co-tenant alerted neighbours when she noticed that his door was still closed as at 8:30 a.m,”which was quite unusual of him”.
“It was gathered that the co-tenant had knocked severally with no response, but rather perceived a strange odour suspected to be chemical oozing out from within,” it said, noting that it was at that point that the neighbours forced open the door only for them to find him dead, with foam and blood in his mouth and nostrils.
“Also, an empty bottle of sniper was discovered beside his lifeless body, our correspondent gathered.”
When contacted, the police public relations officer for Delta State Command, Bright Edafe, told our correspondent that such incident had not been reported to the command as of the time of filing this report.
