General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor EA Adeboye, has warned against dressing ‘carelessly’ within the Redeemed Camp, in Mowe Lagos.
The Redemption ground is a city on its own and Adeboye has said it will now be called Redeemed City.
As part of the rebranding the city is experiencing, he said dressing carelessly there had been outlawed, warning that whoever did so would be arrested physically nd spiritually.
Adeboye said, “To be forewarned is forearmed. Stop selling on the roads. Dressing carelessly is not allowed on this camp ground. Those who disobey will not be arrested physically but also spiritually. If you have anyone coming into the camp ground tell him or her to dress properly.”
During the monthly programme in the church, he announced other changes thus: “The national overseer is now fully retired. He has done excellently well. The National Overseer will be in charge for two years. Pastor Sunday Akande is now the new national overseer. “The Governing Council has said the camp ground will soon be a City of its own. We have everything that makes a state.
“The Ring Road on the camp ground is now named after Papa Josiah Akindayomi and some other roads would be named after some retired pastors of the church.”
