The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has described the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi-Esuwoye II, as an embodiment of community growth.
He said he was also a patriotic king.
The Emir said this on Wednesday as felicitated the Olofa on his 59th birthday.
This is contained in goodwill message issued by the Spokesperson of the Emir, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, on Wednesday in Ilorin.
The Emir, also the Chairman, Kwara Council of Emirs and Obas, said that Oba Esuwoye II is an embodiment of community growth, a patriotic Nigerian and an entrepreneur of all season.
Sulu-Gambari said that Olofa of Offa has upgraded the lives of his subjects and community in general.
“On behalf of the entire members of the State Council of Chiefs, I congratulate and rejoice with the Olofa of Offa, on this auspicious occasion of his birthday.
“There is no doubt that the monarch has over the years demonstrated high sense of patriotism, as a seasoned business mogul turned traditional ruler.
“A philanthropist par excellence and amiable frontline member of the State Traditional Rulers Council.
“As he turns another glorious year today, I pray that Almighty Allah bless his new age with resounding wisdom, good health and more comfort on the stool as the paramount ruler of Offa Kingdom.
