Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, has lost the N20bn damages awarded him against the Department of State Security.

According to the court, who also set aside the judgment that declared the attack on Igboho’s house illegal, said the award for damages against the DSS as outrageous.
The DSS had invaded Igboho’s Sanyo, Ibadan, home where it killed two people daid to have exchanged gunshots with them, while some 12 associates of the activist were arrested.
Igboho then tried to escape to Germany after he was declared wanted, but was arrested in Benin Republic, where he has been held since about a year.
