Popular comic actor, John Okafor, aka Mr Ibu, is still telling his story as he recuperates from poisoning by some people close to him.

He has, indeed, been repeatedly poisoned.

This is as controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, who is also an health expert, identifies three drugs that, she says, some people are using for poisoning.

She reveals them in an online post where she also warns that no one should leave ther drinks opn or behind at events.

She gives the example of how she had to arry her drink at an event when she wanted to have a selfie with popular actress Eniola Badmus.

She names the drugs but Phenomenal.com.ng will not list them here to avoid giving them more popularity.

Meanwhile, Mr Ibu has revealed that since he was poisoned, he tries to be careful around people.

The brand ambassador was poisoned sometimes ago but, fortunately, he survived it.

The comic star had narrates on several occasions how he was poisoned in the past by persons close to him.

Ibu who made this statement in an interview with ‘Sunday The Punch’, says he is now mindful of new faces around him, considering that it was done by someone he helped.

The actor notes:

“These days, I am usually skeptical because I later found out that it was somebody I had helped in the past (who poisoned me).”

“If not for God, the result would have been bad. As I speak with you now, I am still being treated somewhere in Guzape, Abuja.”

The movie star urges government to do more in terms of ensuring the safety and secutity of filmmakers.

He says:

“I expect the Federal Government to act on this.

Whether we like it or not, we (actors) are serving the government.

“The movies we make are for the benefit of the general public.

“If the government wants to better protect us, they can do it.”
