More politicians continued to woo Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, joined him in London.
While Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, accompanied Atiku at the meeting, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke, were with Wike.
The European city seems to be assuming a land of political pilgrimage with Wike as the jewel to behold as former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party met him earlier.
All Progressives Congress’ candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was also said to have met him as everyone feels the need to secure Rivers State/Niger Delta votes.
Observers are eager to see how Wike will resolve the dilemma the patronage may have fuelled.
