Media personality, Shade Ladipo, has noted how she had to change her belief about the quality of education she received at the University of Lagos.
She indeed expressed shock at how the degree she got in Nigeria has become a big thing for her abroad.
She, in an IG reflection, explained that although she doesn’t have another degree apart from the one she got in Nigeria, her service is always needed as if she attended Harvard University.

Speaking further, she admitted that she always felt Unilag which she graduated from was not a standard institution, she has now admitted that they thought her a whole lot.
She wrote:
“Sometimes I am amazed at how my Nigerian degrees have gotten me to such great heights.
😥😥😥
Like I don’t have any other Bachelors, Undergrad, or Masters degree but the way I am being rushed in this abroad it’s like I went to Harvard 😃😃😃.
Even though I thought Unilag was crap, I now realize that they must have taught me something.
Also let’s not forget Nigeria is it’s own University and I graduated with a honours.”
