Majority Leader of Anambra State House Of Assembly, Nnamdi Okafor, has passed on.
The member who represented Awka South Constituency 1, whose nickname was Akajiugo Awka, was said to have slumped in the early hours of Wednesday in a Hotel at Sandton City, Johannesburg, South Africa.
He was said to have been later confirmed dead.
While further details are still being awaited on the development, the state’s lawmakers are said to be on a retreat in the SA.
