Tongues have started waggig after billionaire Femi Otedola prayed for the success of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Otedola announced his visit to him on Tuesday, via a tweet.
He also prayed for him in the process, indicating an endorsement.
The business elite, especially the rich, always have a hand in the emergence of presidents and governors, even if surreptitiously.
Now, Otedola has gone to town with his support – and it is a pointer to where his other friends may haed for.
The businessman shared a picture of himself standing beside the former Governor of Lagos State via Twitter, and prayed that God granted Tinubu his desire to win the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.
“I am always excited visiting my Great Friend, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu @officialABAT,” he wrote on Tuesday.
“May God grant him his heart’s desire in becoming the President of this great Nation …F.Ote,”
Comments on this are divided.
While some show understanding in terms of the fact that he is entitled to his choice, others are criticising him, saying he is out to protect his interest.
