A fan of the late popular artiste, Sound Sultan, has expressed shock that he still ‘uses’ the social media.

Sound Sultan died on July 11, 2021 after battling ‘Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma,’ ‘Cancer of the throat.’

Before his death, he underwent chemotherapy in a hospital in the United States of America.

Over a year after his death, the lady cried out as she noticed he ‘actively visits’ her page.

Sharing a screenshot as proof, the lady revealed that the late Sound Sultan had liked one of her recent posts.

She added that the death of the singer remained an emotional one, so such a person should desist from the act.

She wrote:

“WHOEVER IS HANDLING THIS PAGE.

STOP NA.

UNCLE LANRE’S DEATH WAS A VERY EMOTIONAL ONE.

HE WAS MY BIGGEST STREET BROTHER.

ALWAYS READY TO HELP.

I JUST GOT EMOTIONAL ABOUT THIS.”

Her complaint actually brings back the question of what happens to social media accounts of people who have passed on – especially celebrities with huge followers.

Who takes over the accounts?

How will they be managed?

Will the owner of the account have to appoint who should run it as part of his or her Will?
