– Former West Ham United striker Sebastien Haller has joined Borussia Dortmund after the German club agreed a deal with Ajax.
– The Ivory Coast international has signed a four-year deal, moving to the Bundesliga for the second time in his career after a spell with Eintracht Frankfurt between 2017 and 2019.
– Haller will join up with the Dortmund squad next weekend and will wear the No 9 for his new side.

– Haller, 28, arrived in east London in 2019 for a fee of £45 million but was sold to Ajax for less than half that price 18 months later.

– Haller scored 34 goals and recorded nine assists in 42 appearances in 2021-22, while he also finished as the Champions League’s top goalscorer in last season’s group stage.

– Dortmund have already signed another forward in Karim Adeyemi from Red Bull Salzburg as they prepare for life without Haaland.
– The 20-year-old Germany international scored 25 goals in 39 appearances for the Austrian champions last season and has penned a five-year deal at Signal Iduna Park.
