In preaching, healing and social adventures, Prophet Odumeje is a sensation to behold.
Nigeria has had many charismatic pastors – including TB Joshua, Chris Oyakhilome, Cris Okotie, Tunde Bakare, Bishop Oyedepo and even Mummy Wa.
Yet, many believe Odumeje is a combination of almost all of these.
He spins drama when he preaches, just as he sings and dances with magical fervour.
No wonder, he is an Internet sensation.
When he, however, trended online on Thursday, it was for a pitiable reason.
Apart from the fact that the Anabra State Government demolished his building – alongside others, citing infractions – he was assaulted by security boys who beat him back and front as he he was a mere mortal.

2. He hails from Orlu in Imo State but kivess in Onitsha, Anambra State.
3. He Started Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry Onitsha, on 10th September 2010 as deliverance ministry in a public yard at No 14 osumu street Odakpu, Onitsha, from where it was moved to Okija hall and subsequently to Arondizuogu hall, all in Odakpu, Anambra State.

5. The church has moved to its permanent site at No. 88 Bida road Fegge, Onitsha, having over 20,000 seating capacity.
6. He is happily married with kids, how ever he shield his family from the media.
7. He claimed to have resurrected a dead woman in a video which went viral in 2017.
8. There were wild spread reports that he intended walking on water but he publicly debunked this rumour in August 2019.
9. He claimed the Onitsha inferno was a spiritual attack and as such happened because he was not around to defend Onitsha. He prides himself as the defender of Onitsha
10. Popular celebrities and politicians including Yul Edochie has visited his church.
