‘Fall’ singer, Davido, is now ready to return his full self to his first love: music.
He has had to practically suspend the career in the past days as he devoted everything to the cause of his uncle vying for the governorship of Osun State – Ademola Adeleke.
He went, he saw and he won, with Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party defeating the incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress.
On Wednesday, Davido expressed his eagerness to return to studio, saying he had staked everything for the political battle.
He tweeted (SIC): “It’s been a long battle fought! We put our family name on the line, I put my career in the line! But we had faith! This was God testing us if we really believed in him! I feel victorious! Congrats! Your excellency @AAdeleke_01! As for me it’s back to the studio!.”
