Actress Kemi Afolabi has listed the names of some of the people who funded her treatment abroad.
She announced on Thursday that she had begun the treatment of the rather naughty disease called lupus in the USA.
Experts note that, in lupus, “”the immune system of the body attacks its own cells and tissues. Specifically, the joints, skin, kidneys, lungs, eyes, heart, nervous system, and other organs of the body are affected.”
She wrote, “I commenced my lupus treatment journey today 06/30/2022 with @hopkinsmedicine Alihamdulilah.”
Kemi had earlier raised the alarm that some people had told her how long she was bound to live based on the challenge.
She has also had to refute a claim that she had taken the problem to a church, saying she was a Muslim.
