– Liverpool have handed Fabio Carvalho the number 28 shirt at Anfield after officially unveiling him as their new signing on Sunday.
– Carvalho’s arrival on Merseyside has been a long time coming, as the Reds tried to sign him on the final day of the January transfer window.
– They were unable to complete a deal on that occasion, but six months later they have finally got their man, and Carvalho has expressed his delight at joining Jurgen Klopp’s side.

– ‘It’s just an amazing feeling to be here at one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest. So, I’m just happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started,’ Carvalho told Liverpool’s official website.

– Carvalho will wear the number 28 next term, having taken this shirt off Ben Davies, who has been given the number 24 jersey.
