When people make mistakes and they have an opportunity to correct such, life simply flows on from there, as they feel relieved they have caged the error.
But when there is no opportunity to make amend, the guilt simply stays.

This is how superstar Burna Boy’s experience with the late Sound Sultan is legendary.

And the sin is what many other people have committed, thus regretting as he is doing.

When some fellows are sick, and you are unable to reach out to them, but later learns they have died,you begin to feel as if you are the one who killed them.

Burna Boy has shared his biggest ‘regre’ as late artiste Sound Sultan was recently a year after his demise.

Recall that on July 11, 2021, throat cancer claimed his life.

Many Nigerians paid their respects to him on social media on Monday, the first anniversary of his passing.

Burna Boy expressed regret for procrastinating in his bid to reach out to the deceased.

HE SAID:

“I SHOULD HAVE TALKED TO GRANDADDY BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.

I SHOULD HAVE TALKED TO SOUND SULTAN MORE BEFORE HE DIED.

I SHOULD SHOW PEOPLE MORE LOVE WHILE THEY ARE STILL ALIVE.

I SHOULD ALWAYS KNOW THE WAY MY PEOPLE FEEL INSIDE.

I’M TRYING TO BE A BETTER MAN, I’VE BEEN TRYING, I GOT IT ALL BUT I STILL GOT MY ANGER.”
