As many people continue to celebrate veteran actor, Olu Jacobs, as he turns 80, actress Patience Ozokwor’s assessment of him is instructive.

According to her, Olu Jacobs is so versatile that he has no problem playing the role of an Igbo king and a Yoruba oba, despite the fact that he is Yoruba.

Mama G, as she is popular called, says that she indeed misses filming on set with veteran actor Olu Jacobs.

The 63-year-old said this at the 80th birthday of Jacobs held at the Glover Memorial Hall in Lagos.

“I’M MISSING HIM ON SET,

HE CAN PLAY AN IGBO KING,

HE CAN PLAY A YORUBA KING,

IN FACT, I DON’T THINK ANYBODY CAN REPLACE HIM.”

Other celebrities who were also present at the event includes:

Hilda Dokubo, Ali Baba, Taiwo Ajayi Lycett, Victor Osuagwu, Ego Boyo, Ireti Doyle, Ini Edo, Kunle Afolayan, Ngozi Nwosu.

Meanwhile, People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has also saluted Jacobs.
