– That’s because the Gunners, the Reds, the Red Devils and the Citizens all want(ed) to sign the 27-year-old in the summer transfer window.
– Earlier this month, The Sun have reported that Manchester United and Manchester City are keen on signing Gnabry from Bayern in the summer transfer window.
– The report in the British tabloid claimed that Bayern are willing to sell the Germany international winger for £35 million.
– The Daily Star also reported earlier this month interest from Arsenal and Manchester United in Gnabry.
– Sport reported on June 21 that Liverpool have held talks with the representatives of the winger and were confident that Bayern were going to lower their demands for the former Arsenal player.
– The 27-year-old has been on the books of Bayern since 2017 and has won the Bundesliga four times and the UEFA Champions League once.
– Gnabry, who could not make an impact at Arsenal during his time at the Gunners, is pleased with his decision to commit his long-term future to Bayern.
– The winger told Bayern’s official website: “I thought a lot about what I want as a player in the coming years, and came to the conclusion that I want to stay at FC Bayern, win everything again here and experience things – in particular celebrating another Champions League title, but this time with our fans.
– “It’s special because I get to play here with my friends at the highest level. It certainly wouldn’t feel the same at a different club. I want to experience more great moments here – and nowhere else. The hunger for major honors is not going away.”
🗣️ @SergeGnabry continues:
"It is a big relief to have everything done now. I'm incredibly pleased to be staying here. I'm really looking forward to the new season with the team and I'm just really happy."#MiaSanMia #FCBayern #Gnabry2026 pic.twitter.com/Tg7HBQG276
