Popular skitmaker, Broda Shaggi, is not happy with the police over the claim that the have outlawed slapping of civilians.
According to police spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, any officer who flogs or slaps a person has committed assault.
He had tweeted:

“Any policeman who slaps you has committed an offence of assault.
No policeman is allowed to flog or slap you. He has items to apply minimum force on you as stipulated by the law but not slap or whip you.
It’s only the baton or teaser or spray a policeman can use on u while on duty not slap.”
Broda Shaggi however belies that this is pure hypocrisy.
He replied Adejobi:
“Oga you go just come on bird app dey yarn dust.
Your guys dey slap people everyday. Both women and men, old and young and nothing has ever been done about it.
You are just tweeting all this for nothing bro. If you really care, let’s see the punishment given to any policeman who slaps a citizen.
Make una no dey find youths likes and comment like say una dey with us while you take order from those old murders.
