The Islamic State of West Africa has released a video showing how it attacked the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja.
The terrorists struck at the facility on Tuesday, overwhelming the security system and releasing over 700 inmates.
Sixty-four of those released are Boko Haram detainees.
Dousing the separation about who did the deed, ISWAP has released the video showing how its men entered, shooting, and the destruction unleashed on the place.
Cars and parts of the building are seen burning in the clip.
The video was first released by ISWAP’s A’maq Agency, with the caption, caption read, “Fighters of Islamic State attacked Kuje prison in Abuja yesterday and succeeded in releasing many prisoners.”
Many have shown bewilderment at how the terrorists were able to somehow clinically carried out the operation.
Even President Muhammadu Buhari, when he visited the centre on Wednesday, could not help asking several questions, wondering how it was possible for those in charge to have allowed the security of the setting so breached.
