Founder of the Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has expressed his view on how his fellow cleric, Odumeje was treated by the Anambra taskforce demolishing the latter’s building.
The church, like others around the area in Onisha, was said to be obstructing drainage path.
While trying to arguably stop the taskforce, Odumeje was roundly beaten and pushed up and down like a criminal.

Suleiman, taking to his Facebook page, says he saw the video of how the pastor was so assaulted.
According to him, the operatives overstepped their boundaries and he expects the governor to speak against such action by the workmen.
He writes (sic):
“I Just Saw A Video Of Pastor Odumeje Being Assaulted By Operatives.
That’s Very Primitive And Uncalled For.
Those Operative Over Stepped Their Boundaries And I Expect Governor Soludo To Condemn It.
It’s Condemnable. Highly!.”
Governor Charles Soludo has, however, blamed Odumeje for the assault.
Although he initially apologised to him, he said he did not comport himself gentlemanly, saying he struggled with the officials.
