Veteran lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana, has said that there is no government in Nigeria.
According to him, that is why the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ strike has lasted for so long.
The strike has sent more anxiety waves across the country, with labour intervening via protests.
During one of such in Lagos on Tuesday, Falana joined the workers, renewing what he and the likes of the late Gani Fawehinmi, Beko Kutti and Professor Wole Soyinka had always done.
He said, “There is no government in Nigeria. That is why the strike has been allowed to last this long.”
Meanwhile, apart from protests held across the nation on Tuesday, the Nigerian Labour Congress will on Wednesddy what they call a ma\ega protest in Abuja on Wednesday.
