Vocal politician, Senator Shehu Sanni, has pondered the plight of politicians in terms of how they hardly have any Secret.
He says they are exposed to endless scrutiny and even campaign of calumny.
According to him, they don’t have any secret again once they get into politics.
Although he does not give a background to his reflection in the Facebook post he ponders the matter, he notes:
The day you join politics, everything about you will be made public.
The good ones will be suppressed and the bad ones will be emphasised and blown.
Your opponents will scrutinise all your academic, public and private life.
If they can’t find anything negative, they will manufacture one for you and dispense it to the public.
It’s someone today and it may be you tomorrow.
