Soldier shoots dead petrol attendant who threatened him with a cutlass

Legal and military authorities seem to have a puzzling case in their hands as a soldier has shot dead a petrol attendant who allegedly threatened him with a gun.

The incident occurred in Minna, Niger State, with reports indicating that it happened at the Bosso Road branch of a filling station in Minna.

While killing has been done, the circumstance of the attendant first allegedly threatening the soldier with a gun may be an intrigue the system will have to crack when the case unfolds.

Police spokesman Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident, saying that an investigation had been launched into the development.

According to reports, a disagreement had ensued between the station manager and the soldier yet to be identified.

The degenerated into a fight, the attendant who was angry at the soldier, brought out a cutlass to threaten him.

The soldier also brought out his gun and shot him.
