– Singer Portable has called out Burna Boy for using his intellectual property (slogan) without his consent asking him to link up so they collaborate on a song.
– Street buzzing artists, Portable has taken to social media to call out Burna Boy for hijacking his slang and being reluctant to give him a collaboration.
– He claims that he is unsure as to whether Burna Boy is attempting to assist him or if he is using him to advertise his most recent album.

– He recalled how Burna Boy leveraged his picture to promote his new album, and how just the day before in New York, Burna used his catchphrase, “Akoi Love, Akoi Grace, Akoi Blessing,” during the Love, Damini album listening party.

– Portable has asked him to do the right thing and link up so they do a song and not just catch cruise with his slogan which is his intellectual property.

– He tagged Burna Boy and told him to record a song with him or stop using his lingo for promotion.
He said:
– “I don come with my Wahala, Wahala day look for trouble. Na jeje I seat down oo Uncle Burna Boy…Abeg Shey you won help me ni, abi you won Rip me?” Abeg I day use God Beg you, shay make we sing ni abi you day use me just they do promotion? Na so you use my picture promote your album, Now you don day use my slang Akoi, na me get am oo make we do song.”
– This is coming barely a month after Portable took to social media to solicit a feature in the album of Burna Boy.
– Responding, Burna Boy retweeted the post and many people thought it was a yes to the request of Portable since then nothing has been heard from him.
