Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, has said that he will soon be in Nigeria.
He is in Benin Republic where he had been held following his arrest when trying to fly to Germany after the Nigerian Government tried to arrest him following his struggles against what he believes is injustice against Yorubas.
In a chat published in ‘Sunday Punch’, Igboho said he would soon return home, noting that a court had stopped the DSS from further arresting him.

He also spoke on how he was arrested in Cotonou, saying that he would have successfully travelled if his wife was not with him:
“My wife (Ropo) was detained at the (Cadjèhoun) Airport for about two hours. They were ready to hold onto her if I didn’t show up. Then I showed up and the security agents handcuffed my hands and legs. If I knew that could happen, I wouldn’t allow her to follow me to the airport. She had already obtained my travelling document from the German government and I would have asked her to go separately but God knew how everything went that way.”
