– Popular charting website, Billboard, has announced that Nigeria’s Wizkid is the longest-charting African on it’s charts.
– “Essence”, featuring Tems, remained on the website’s charts for the longest. The song is off Wizkid’s album “Made In Lagos”.
– By virtue of this, Wizkid’s is the longest charting artiste, with the longest charting album and song.

– Billboard’s announcement is a confirmation of Wizkid’s success in the United States and an addition of another feather to his heavily decorated cap. With his next album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ on the way, hed will be looking to further break new grounds internationally.
– The artiste, who recently performed alongside BNXN (formerly known as Buju), remains one of the biggest acts out of Nigerian and Africa.
– Also, he recently collaborated with Chris Brown on a new single “Call Me Everyday”.
