– Luka Modric and Real Madrid have reached a definitive agreement for the Croatian to continue at the club for another season.
– His standard of performances shown throughout the season has once again been the main reason for the former Ballon d’Or winner to extend his stay at Madrid.
– The desire of Real Madrid’s directors was clear and it was only a matter of time. Both parties wanted to extend the deal and a single conversation was enough for Modric to complete what will be his eleventh season at the club.

– As with his last renewal, the new deal will be for one season, with no increase or decrease in salary.
– The midfielder has not closed the door on playing for more seasons beyond next, as he acknowledged at the MARCA Leyenda award ceremony a fortnight ago.
