Popular actress, Halima Abubakar, has revealed the reason she took a break from Nollywood.
She claims that she cannot cope with demand for sex by producers/directors.
Her claim seems to compound the worry of some stakeholders over the alleged sex-for-roles syndrome in Nollywood.

According to her, she decided to start producing her own movies because she doesn’t have strength to give sex to producers.
She claims:
“I left Twitter not Nollywood.
I produce my own movies.
I no get strength for sex.
Taking a break is necessary.
I have won all awards.
So I won’t be too hungry to ass lick, or belong to a group.
Like I said before, I don’t have filter, I say the truth.
I mean that’s me.”
Halima Abubakar who was born on 12 June 1985 The graduate of Bayero University, Kano is also the CEO, Modehouse.
