It was a worthwhile reunion happy day for the founder, Enemona Humanitarian Foundation, Ambassador Gabriel Onoja, as he stoped over in Ogbese, Ondo state where he met his former fellow Okada riders. Years ago he was a notable player in the commercial motorcycle, aka Okada business in the town.
Gabriel who was on his way to Lagos, had a stopover at motor parks, eating joints and other spots where he started life to keep body and soul together.
While excahnaging pleasantries and reminiscing old memories, the Philanthropist advised his childhood friends and business mates to display high level of integrity and commitment to their vocations for a prosperous and God given blessings.
Gabriel warned them to stay away from crimes and criminality in order not to truncate their potentialities and to enable them contribute to the growth of society.
Onoja, who was full of joy to have connected with some of his Okada riders at the junction, maintained that it is only hardwork and integrity that can unluck opportunities and not the other way round.
For those who want to climb the mountains of success, Gabriel asked them to use his life as template and see him as a testimony of what God can do for them in his own time.
He said it was God who within a short period of his commitment to excellence, has transformed him from Okada rider to being a blessing to the widows, orphans and indeed humanity.
He recalled how he contested for the position of Chairman of Okada Riders Association and lost, stressing that there is always a blessing in all situations and urged them not to dispair but to continue to work harder.
“I decided to stop over to see you. As one of your own. I have to advise you to continue to work hard, as there is dignity in labour. My life should be an example to all of you. It is working smart and God’s blessings that has taken me to this level.
“It is my advice for you to shun all forms of crimes,. In fact, I get infuriated when some goes about displaying themselves as Yahoo boys. It cannot take you very far. It bring you into collision with the law of the land. The only thing that can guarantee sustainable growth is character and confidence in oneself” He advised.
Onoja, who also visited Madam Chinyere restaurant located at the park where he used to eat said, “I used to eat at the restaurant and it will not be nice for me to pass without stopping over to see her.
He took time to take photographs with the old friends, even as he blessed them handsomely.
In a remark, the leader of the Okada riders, Ogbese branch commended him for his tenacity and commitment to hardwork saying, no wonder that God has tremendously blessed him.
He stated that even when Onoja was with them, he was always full of hope and he hate engaging in any sharp practices, as he constantly keeps encouraging them to show commitment to their vocation and to engage in other lawful ventures.
