– Mavin boss Don Jazzy took to his social media platform to react to the unfounded allegations over the Headies Award 2022 nomination process.
– Mavin Records Boss, Don Jazzy has slammed those perpetuating rumours that he bought Ayra Starr’s place in the 2022 Headies Nomination list.
– Today, Organizers unveiled the list of nominees for the 2022 Headies Awards and Ayra Starr bagged over eight nominations.

– Afrobeats superstar Wizkid bagged a total of nine (9) nominations, while Ayra Starr followed with eight (8) nominations, and Sonic-Artist Brymo was nominated in six (6) categories.
– Ayra got nominations in the Best R&B single, Best Vocal Performance (Female), Best Collaboration, Best Afrobeat single of the Year, Headies Viewers Choice, Bets AFrobeat Album, Album of the Year and Next Rated.
– However, her nominations raised dust on Twitter with some claiming that the only reason she got the nominations was that Don Jazzy bought them.
– Don Jazzy had been very short and brief in his reply to a fan that raised key details for trolls who had decided to make such allegations.
– The Twitter user had tweeted:
