The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor EA Adeboye, has said that the problems facing Nigeria are not religious.
According to him, those unleashing violence on Nigeria don’t discriminate among their victims, saying bullets do not discriminate between Christians and Muslims.
Speaking in Nasarawa State on Friday, Adeboye, who recently turned 80, cited the instance of the bandits who recently attacked a Kaduna-bound train.
He noted that they indiscriminately shot at the passengers.

He said, “When bandits attacked the train on its way to Kaduna, they did not ask who Christians were or who were Muslims. They opened fire on the passengers. Bullets kill anyone. Will not ask, ‘What is your religion?”
While the likes of Boko Haram continue to wreak violence, on the pretence of trying to enforce Islamic lifestyle in the north, the nation has received another shock as some students of Sheu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State have gruesomely murdered a female student, Deborah Samuel, whom they accused of blaspheming Prophet Muhamamad.
