The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau, Chief Rufus Bature, says all contestants for governorship ticket on the platform of the party are genuine party members.
Bature stated this on Sunday in Jos in a news conference.
The chairman said that the was a report to the effect that one of the contenstants is not a member of the party.
“I was taken aback on Saturday when I was inundated with calls that there was a publication on the social media that I said that Dr Nentawe Yilwatda is not a member of APC.
“Nentawe Yilwatda, just like others, is an authentic member of the APC,” he emphasised.

He said that nine aspirants would contest for the governorship ticket of APC in the forthcoming primaries.
The chairman, therefore, called on the aspirants and their supporters to avoid any action that could trigger crises.
