She has continued to grow professionally, but there have been some distractions in recent times.
First, she and co-actresses like Iyabo Ojo and Toyin Abrahams clashed around the time ‘Omoghetto’ came on stream as she was alleged to have propelled a critic to write negatively about Abraham’s film, which was released the same time.

More recently, Funke was rumoured to have clashed with her husband Rasheed Bello, over what was said to have been spending matter.
