Okon Lagos’s sermon: ‘Nigeria may be unfair to us but let’s fix it’

Comic actor Ime Bishop, popularly known as Okon Lagos, is out with a sermon that could qualify him as an unusual patriot.

Millions of Nigerians are justifiably disillusioned about Nigeria as bad leadership continues to batter it.

As a result, they hardly care whatever happens to it.

But Okon Lagos is rallying folks to join hands together in order to fix their country.

He revealed how a Nigerian man was killed in America by his American girlfriend, while she is walking scot-free.

According to him, Nigeria may be unfair to her citizens but it’s more painful when one gets a worst treatment in a country one felt would find rest.

He wrote:

“A white American lady stabbed her Naija boyfriend to death.

She is walking the streets free as we speak.

While the man’s family is still mourning.

The difference is clear.

One is more American and human than the other.

To be second class citizen for another country may hurt deeper tomorrow.

You genuinely have no country apart from Nigeria.

Let’s collectively fix her!

Yes Nigeria may be unfair to us but it’s hurts most when u get a worst treatment in climes you thought you will find succour.”
