‘Orente’ singer, Adekunle Gold, has underplayed the power of money in relation to happiness and fulfilment.
He feels money isn’t everything because it doesn’t bring happiness.
The fact is that the artiste may be in a good position to judge money, having tasted wealth.
In 2019, for instance, he revealed in an interview that he lost his sister who was his best friend.
He said the sister died because she suffered from a heart disease even though a lot of money was spent on her in order to save her life.
Now in a new tweet, he insists cash does not guarantee happiness though he prays everyone has it.
He wrote (SIC):
“Money no dey bring happiness
Na when I get money I realize
But I no be hypocrite
I dey pray make you get your own too.”
