Suru/Bagudo federal constituency, on Saturday, empowered 360 members of his constituency towards making them self-sufficient.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the empowerment was done under Dallatu Empowerment Programme.
It featured the presentation of 60 deep freezers, 100 grinding machines, 100 water pumping machines and 100 sewing machines to beneficiaries.
Speaking at the ceremony held at Ka’oji, Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State, the lawmaker said the programme was meant to make the beneficiaries self-sufficient and productive members of the society.
He advised them to use the items judiciously to boost their revenue base for the good of the society.

NAN also reports that the member used the occasion to commission a rehabilitated Ultra-Modern Juma’at Mosque in Ka’oji, which he personally sponsored.
