The Yeyedu Outreach Foundation has advised mothers to ensure good mentorship of their children in order to breed a sane society.
The foundation gave the task on Sunday during its dedication service at RCCG Latter House Glory Assembly Church, Abuja.
Miss Juliet Gbefwi, President of the foundation, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) shortly after the dedication service that it has
committed its activities to God and humanity for the development of the country.
Gbefwi said the organisation, a Christian foundation, is aimed at reaching out to the vulnerable in the society.
She explained that the foundation was seeking to improve the quality of life of the less-privileged, children and women through initiatives that would enhance their access to good healthcare and quality education.
While calling for a better livelihood for the less-privileged in the society, she equally advised mothers on proper upbringing of their children to ensure a better and responsible nation.
According to her, the foundation envisions a society where no orphan and vulnerable child is deprived of education as well as women are empowered to achieve their potentials for the economic development of the country.
“We render services to make life better for children and the less privileged in the society, especially at the rural areas and far-to-reach communities.
“We have carried out different interventions in health, education, women empowerment and civic engagements in the country,” she said.
Gbefwi also reiterated the foundation’s commitment in ensuring that indigent children, especially at the rural communities are carted for.

She added that the foundation has carried out several intervention programmes ranging from medical care, donation of food items and counselling, among other services.
